Reflection

Come, have breakfast. After fishing all night and catching nothing, the disciples find Jesus on the shore with a charcoal fire, fish, and bread. The Risen Christ doesn't lecture. He feeds. In your twenties, the Resurrection shows up in the ordinary. A friend who feeds you when you're empty. A voice that redirects your effort. A fire on the shore when the night has been long and fruitless. Peter before the Sanhedrin: no other name under heaven by which we are to be saved. The cornerstone is the one grilling fish.
